Ab or Av (ʾĀḇ; related to Akkadian abu), sometimes Aba or Abba, means "father" in most Semitic languages.
Arabic
Ab (أَب), from a theoretical, abstract form ʼabawun (triliteral ʼ-b-w) is Arabic for "father". The dual is ʼabawāni or ʼabāni "two fathers" or "mother and father" (ʼābāʼi-ka meaning "thy parents").
Li-llāhi ʼabū-ka is an expression of praise, meaning "to God is attributable [the excellence of] your father".
As a verb, ʼ-b-w means "to become [as] a father to [somebody]" (ʼabawtu) or "to adopt [him] as a father" (ta'abbā-hu or ista'bā-hu).
In the construct state, Abū (أبو) is followed by another word to form a complete name, e.g.: Abu Mazen, another name for Mahmoud Abbas.
Abu may be used as a kunya, an honorific. To refer to a man by his fatherhood (of male offspring) is polite, so that ʼabū takes the function of an honorific. Even a man that is as yet childless may still be known as abū of his father's name, implying that he will yet have a son called after his father.

Abu in Sumerian religion was a minor god of plants. He was one of the eight deities born to relieve the illness of Enki. Abu means "father of plants and vegetation."
Stephen Langdon has proposed that Abu may have been an early name of Tammuz, on the basis that Abu was identified as the consort of Inanna, and that the name Abu did not appear in texts later than the Third Dynasty of Ur.

Strider: A two-seater vehicle with the ability to jump in PUBG Mobile. It's armed with missiles that can be used to bombard designated areas. Missiles can be replenished at the Repair Station in the Assembly Base.Levitron: A special vechile that can switch between a speed form and a magnetic form in PUBG Mobile. Serves as the upper-body component that combines with a Strider to form the Armamech.In speed form, the maximum speed and hover height will be increased, and the vehicle gains a "collision acceleration" ability: it will not slow down when it hits an obstacle. Instead, it will accelerate using the stored magnetic energy.In magnetic form, the maximum speed and hover height will be reduced, but it can activate a "Magnetize" ability to grab and toss characters, vehicles, and specific objects.Armamech: A four-seater vehicle combined from a Levitron and a Strider. It can also be directly summoned from the Steel Ark.It possesses 2 weapons that it can freely switch between: the Strider's missiles, and the Levitron's "Magnetize" ability.It has a boosted jump that enables it to leap high and far with the assistance of jets.Bring a Levitron and a Strider close together to combine them. After combining, the pilot of the Levitron becomes the pilot of the Armamech. It can also be separated at any time.

Jetpack: Pick it up and equip it to increase movement speed in PUBG Mobile. It possesses the ability to hover in the air for a short duration. It consumes Energy rapidly when lifting off. Energy will only be replenished when you reach the ground. The Jetpack has a Health bar that protects you from damage to your back and arms. It will be destroyed after taking a certain amount of damage. When reaching a certain speed while moving forward, it can switch to a speed form. You will perform a special action when you tap "Lift Off" as it switches to the speed form. The Jetpack comes with the "Magnetize" ability, but you will not be able to fly fast when using it.Personal AED: If you have this item in PUBG Mobile, you can tap self-rescue after being knocked down. Once successful, you will recover from the knocked down state. Each player can only carry one of these items. Self-rescuing will be interrupted if you move while using this item.Magnet Gun: This is a downgraded version of the Levitron's "Magnetize" ability in gun form. Switch to it by tapping on the firearm bar. It works the same as the Levitron's "Magnetize", but with reduced values.Respawn Beacon: Throw the beacon on the ground to mark a location that the plane will pass over. Recalled teammates can parachute into the match again at the cost of a respawn chance. Teammates who have used up all their respawn chances cannot respawn.Quick Parachute: When parachuting in PUBG Mobile, a quick parachute button will appear at a certain height in the air. Tap it to immediately deploy the parachute which can also be freely put away.Repair Station: Approach the Repair Station in a mecha to replenish its health, fuel, and missiles.

Can Hebrew and Arabic speakers understand each other? I answer that question, and take a look at some similarities and differences between Hebrew and Arabic, sister languages of the Semitic Language family.

Hebrew and Arabic are two languages of the Semitic language family, meaning that both languages developed from the same ancestor language thousands of years ago.
They are not mutually intelligible, meaning that they can't understand each other unless they study the other language. But they have many similarities in grammar and vocabulary.
If you isolate individual words, many are very similar and clearly cognate words (meaning they're equivalent words that developed from the same root in an earlier Semitic language). For example, the word for "dog" is "kelev" in Hebrew and "kalb" in Arabic. Some words are exactly the same: "yad" means "hand in both Hebrew and Arabic, and "dam" means "blood" in both.
In terms morphology, or how words are formed, Hebrew and Arabic use almost the same system of roots and "templates" as I call them: word patterns consisting of certain consonants and vowels that the three consonant root can be placed. The word's meaning is determined by the root's core meaning, and the specific meaning that is added to it by the word template.
Anyone who speaks either language well will have a huge advantage when learning the other. But they will still have to learn the other language before they'll be able to understand or use it.

The Algemeiner has acquired photos and footage from the aftermath of a horrific anti-Semitic attack that took place in Paris, France late last week.
Speaking on camera a day after his assault, the victim -- a 59-year-old Jewish teacher only identified as David -- said he was attacked by three North African "Maghreb men" at 10 p.m. on March 20 after leaving a kosher restaurant in Rue Manin, Paris, and making his way to a subway station.
"They started to curse me out: 'dirty Jew,' 'death to the Jews,' 'son of a b***,' etc. Then they started to beat me up," David says in the clip before breaking down in tears. "I was hit on my face, I got my nose fractured... And then one of them took something out of his pocket, I thought it was a knife... It was a marker... And this is what they did to me (showing his chest), a swastika as they were screaming 'dirty Jew.' "
David then shows the Nazi symbol drawn on his bare chest by the attackers. When members of the public started coming close to the scene of the attack, the assailants ran away and yelled "we are not finished, we'll get back to you!!" he said.

The Algemeiner has acquired photos and footage from the aftermath of a horrific anti-Semitic attack that took place in Paris, France late last week.
Speaking on camera a day after his assault, the victim -- a 59-year-old Jewish teacher only identified as David -- said he was attacked by three North African "Maghreb men" at 10 p.m. on March 20 after leaving a kosher restaurant in Rue Manin, Paris, and making his way to a subway station.
"They started to curse me out: 'dirty Jew,' 'death to the Jews,' 'son of a b***,' etc. Then they started to beat me up," David says in the clip before breaking down in tears. "I was hit on my face, I got my nose fractured... And then one of them took something out of his pocket, I thought it was a knife... It was a marker... And this is what they did to me (showing his chest), a swastika as they were screaming 'dirty Jew.' "
David then shows the Nazi symbol drawn on his bare chest by the attackers. When members of the public started coming close to the scene of the attack, the assailants ran away and yelled "we are not finished, we'll get back to you!!" he said.

New Mecha Vehicles in PUBG Mobile
Strider: A two-seater vehicle with the ability to jump in PUBG Mobile. It's armed with missiles that can be used to bombard designated areas. Missiles can be replenished at the Repair Station in the Assembly Base.Levitron: A special vechile that can switch between a speed form and a magnetic form in PUBG Mobile. Serves as the upper-body component that combines with a Strider to form the Armamech.In speed form, the maximum speed and hover height will be increased, and the vehicle gains a "collision acceleration" ability: it will not slow down when it hits an obstacle. Instead, it will accelerate using the stored magnetic energy.In magnetic form, the maximum speed and hover height will be reduced, but it can activate a "Magnetize" ability to grab and toss characters, vehicles, and specific objects.Armamech: A four-seater vehicle combined from a Levitron and a Strider. It can also be directly summoned from the Steel Ark.It possesses 2 weapons that it can freely switch between: the Strider's missiles, and the Levitron's "Magnetize" ability.It has a boosted jump that enables it to leap high and far with the assistance of jets.Bring a Levitron and a Strider close together to combine them. After combining, the pilot of the Levitron becomes the pilot of the Armamech. It can also be separated at any time.
New Items in PUBG Mobile
Jetpack: Pick it up and equip it to increase movement speed in PUBG Mobile. It possesses the ability to hover in the air for a short duration. It consumes Energy rapidly when lifting off. Energy will only be replenished when you reach the ground. The Jetpack has a Health bar that protects you from damage to your back and arms. It will be destroyed after taking a certain amount of damage. When reaching a certain speed while moving forward, it can switch to a speed form. You will perform a special action when you tap "Lift Off" as it switches to the speed form. The Jetpack comes with the "Magnetize" ability, but you will not be able to fly fast when using it.Personal AED: If you have this item in PUBG Mobile, you can tap self-rescue after being knocked down. Once successful, you will recover from the knocked down state. Each player can only carry one of these items. Self-rescuing will be interrupted if you move while using this item.Magnet Gun: This is a downgraded version of the Levitron's "Magnetize" ability in gun form. Switch to it by tapping on the firearm bar. It works the same as the Levitron's "Magnetize", but with reduced values.Respawn Beacon: Throw the beacon on the ground to mark a location that the plane will pass over. Recalled teammates can parachute into the match again at the cost of a respawn chance. Teammates who have used up all their respawn chances cannot respawn.Quick Parachute: When parachuting in PUBG Mobile, a quick parachute button will appear at a certain height in the air. Tap it to immediately deploy the parachute which can also be freely put away.Repair Station: Approach the Repair Station in a mecha to replenish its health, fuel, and missiles.

A giant space battleship that will land on the map at the start of a match in PUBG Mobile. You can enter it and explore inside. The core of the Steel Ark is a platform where you can summon the Armamech from the skies! You can launch yourself into the air in this mecha for everyone to see.
Assembly Base:The Assembly Base contains a Mecha Repair Station. Approach it in a mecha to replenish the mecha's health, fuel, and missiles.On the top floor of the Assembly Base, there is a detector that can determine the location of crates within the Assembly Base. An Access Card can be found in one of the crates, which can be used to open the door to the Secret Room and get loads of supplies.

Hebrew and Arabic are two languages of the Semitic language family, meaning that both languages developed from the same ancestor language thousands of years ago.
They are not mutually intelligible, meaning that they can't understand each other unless they study the other language. But they have many similarities in grammar and vocabulary.
If you isolate individual words, many are very similar and clearly cognate words (meaning they're equivalent words that developed from the same root in an earlier Semitic language). For example, the word for "dog" is "kelev" in Hebrew and "kalb" in Arabic. Some words are exactly the same: "yad" means "hand in both Hebrew and Arabic, and "dam" means "blood" in both.
In terms morphology, or how words are formed, Hebrew and Arabic use almost the same system of roots and "templates" as I call them: word patterns consisting of certain consonants and vowels that the three consonant root can be placed. The word's meaning is determined by the root's core meaning, and the specific meaning that is added to it by the word template.
Anyone who speaks either language well will have a huge advantage when learning the other. But they will still have to learn the other language before they'll be able to understand or use it.

The Algemeiner has acquired photos and footage from the aftermath of a horrific anti-Semitic attack that took place in Paris, France late last week.
Speaking on camera a day after his assault, the victim -- a 59-year-old Jewish teacher only identified as David -- said he was attacked by three North African "Maghreb men" at 10 p.m. on March 20 after leaving a kosher restaurant in Rue Manin, Paris, and making his way to a subway station.
"They started to curse me out: 'dirty Jew,' 'death to the Jews,' 'son of a b***,' etc. Then they started to beat me up," David says in the clip before breaking down in tears. "I was hit on my face, I got my nose fractured... And then one of them took something out of his pocket, I thought it was a knife... It was a marker... And this is what they did to me (showing his chest), a swastika as they were screaming 'dirty Jew.' "
David then shows the Nazi symbol drawn on his bare chest by the attackers. When members of the public started coming close to the scene of the attack, the assailants ran away and yelled "we are not finished, we'll get back to you!!" he said.
